Discover our sources of clean energy:
- Historic Mini-Hydroelectric Plant: We were pioneers in the rehabilitation of a mini-hydroelectric plant with a capacity of 250kW, one of the first in the country to supply a residential area. We harnessed the river's flow, especially between September and April, to generate 100% clean energy.
- Photovoltaic Power Plant: We have photovoltaic panels with a power output of over 52 kW. Thanks to our excellent solar exposure, we avoid the emission of approximately 20 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere annually.
Thermal Energy: Maximum Efficiency
- Biodiesel Cogeneration: We use a biodiesel generator for the combined production of electricity and heat. The heat dissipated by the engine is recovered for heating domestic hot water, ensuring that no resources are wasted.
- Biomass and Solar Thermal Energy: We complement water heating and air conditioning with a biomass boiler and solar thermal panels. This hybrid system guarantees high performance with virtually no grid consumption.
- Heat Pumps: Modern, highly efficient equipment that ensures perfect thermal balance in any season.
- Centralized Management (AHUs): The hotel uses centralized Air Handling Units to optimize electricity consumption throughout the building, efficiently maintaining the ideal temperature.
- Personalized Comfort: To ensure a quick and comfortable thermal response, all rooms and corridors have additional radiators.
- Sustainable Cooling: In summer, the air conditioning system uses a state-of-the-art electric chiller, selected for its high efficiency in producing chilled water with low energy consumption.
